If you’re here, you probably have this amazing idea; one of those ideas that makes you feel giddy, and you spend more time daydreaming about it than you care to admit to your boss. 🤐😬

An idea this epic needs an equally legendary logo; something that exhibits your impeccable taste and excellent quality.  And if you’re anything like me, your money:genius ratio is not exactly in your favor. 😏

When I was “shopping” for a logo designer for It’s Shirah, I was absolutely gutted by the quotes I received. Don’t get me wrong, I TOTALLY understand why rates are what they are. There is SO much behind a well-made logo. Graphic designers are constantly honing their skills in an ever-evolving and competitive technologically driven field, and to come up with new ideas everyday? PHEW! You earned that, buddy!

My respect for a designer’s work did not make it anymore affordable for me though, amirite? 😅 Hashtag still broke.

In the end, I decided I would just do it myself and once my business grew, it would pay for it’s own cosmetic reconstruction.

But I surprised myself!

There was so much satisfaction in chiseling away at my design, seeing it grow and watching it communicate my personality and what I have to offer as a creative.

Then a friend of mine asked me to make her one. And she told her friend, who told her friend who told her friend, who told. . . you get it. Within a month I had a line of clients waiting for the symbol of their craft.

It was then that I realized I had something bigger I could offer to people like me— people who were eager to color outside of the lines, but needed help breaking through the mold.

I feel so blessed to be a part of so many entrepreneurial ventures! I love witnessing dreams take shape and become reality.
